Welcome

English comedian Bill Bailey used to say in one of his routines: 'There's more evil in the charts than in an Al-Qaeda suggestion box'. Well, here you can find out for yourself. In this blog you can find all the songs that have made it into the top 75 in the UK Charts from August 2006 and all the number ones before that date, all the way back to the very first number one single in 1952. Each song is linked to their videoclips from YouTube (if they have one, and if they haven't been removed), so that you can check them out.

So, if you want to try something different to listen to and you are not sure where to start, this is a place as good as any other. You might discover a song or artist you didn't know to add to your music collection, watch a cool video you hadn't seen, or catch up with any releases you missed. And you can also use it as a one-stop browse-and-click jukebox. I hope someone somewhere finds it useful.

* Disclaimers and such: All the videos have been posted at YouTube. I'm just the pointing the way. If you have any copyright issues, please take them up with the Tube. Or consider 'The jUKbox' free publicity ;) *
